Annales UMCS Sectio A (Mathematica) — Instructions for authors


Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska Sectio A (Mathematica) is published by the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Press and endeavours to publish significant research papers in pure and applied mathematics. Contributed papers should be written in English (in rare cases exceptions may be considered). One volume is published each year.

The submission of a paper implies author's assurance that it has not been published, or submitted for publication elsewhere. Preference will be given to manuscripts not longer than 30 pages. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically, preferably by sending a PDF file to

(TEX, DVI and PostScript files are also acceptable).

Each paper should include a short abstract. The abstract should be self-contained, so any references to numbered items in the paper should be avoided. Authors should also include key words and one or more subject classification codes according to the American Mathematical Society classification system. References should be in alphabetic-chronological order, abbreviations of names of journals and references to books should follow the standard form established by Mathematical Reviews. Upon acceptance, the authors will be requested to send the TEX files. Authors of published papers will receive 10 free offprints.
